Located just on the edge of the city centre, guests at the Berlin hotel have good access to Hamburg’s main attractions either by foot on public transport. The outside of the building is modern and not particularly attractive but inside this all changes and lobby is both warm and inviting. There are various seating areas dotted around, some set back so you can sit and chat in relative privacy and quiet.

For a purpose-built hotel the guest rooms have a surprising variety of shapes and sizes. They’re all very modern and in good condition, particularly the pristine bathrooms. They are also double-glazed and therefore quiet. Somewhat less practical is the position of the mini-bar over the desk making the space for working quite limited.

The breakfast room on the ground floor doubles-up as a function room so its more attractive than most of its kind. A large American buffet breakfast is available to all guests. The hotel is very popular with leisure travellers and often sold-out on the weekend but, if you manage to book a room here, its certainly a good choice.
