Located on Amager Boulevard the Radisson SAS Scandinavia may not be in the heart of the tourist area but it's only a short walk (fifteen minutes) to the town centre or less than five minutes by taxi.
One of the largest hotels in Copenhagen, with magnificent views over the city from the upper floors. For dining the range of possibilities are varied. 'Mamas and Papas' offers all day-dining with a simple international menu. Adjacent is the small Japanese restaurant 'Kyoto' which is normally open evenings only and, to the other side, the Thai 'Blue Elephant' restaurant. Finally, on the twenty-fifth floor with a view over the city is 'The Dining Room', a high-class restaurant serving French and Danish cuisine.
The hotel has a fully equipped gym including weights, two squash courts, indoor pool, massage and beauty parlour and hairdressing salon. And, attached to the hotel is one of Copenhagen's premier gyms.
The rooms are split between different styles, either oriental, Scandinavian or Italian. Facilities throughout are the same, with a good range of amenities. Business class rooms are distinguished by their aspect (overlooking the city) and have free high-speed internet access, free pay-tv, tea/coffee making facilities, iron / ironing board, bathrobe and slippers. There are possibilities for families either with a king-size bed and a roll-away or two extra beds.
